A big thanks to the boys from Performance cranes for their professionalism and expertise. They successfully craned my portable 15m × 3.4m, six ton granny flat over my house from a narrow suburban street and with a 130 tonner. All other punters had insisted on 200 tonners and full road crew at double the expense. Recommend these guys and their can do attitude in a heartbeat.

Hi Matt,
Just wanted to give you some positive feedback on the crane crew you had out here on Saturday.
They were pro-active, positive and hands-on at times just to make the work a little easier for the arborist crew. They listened and advised when appropriate. In short they were a pleasure to work with and I would be happy to do so again in the future.
We had an excellent result ended up ahead of schedule.

AMCOR BOTANY B9 PROJECT
Performance Cranes and Rigging
This letter of referral is to certify that Performance Cranes and Rigging was employed by Leightons Contractors Pty Ltd, on the Amcor B9 Project Port Botany as the principal structural steel erector.
Performance Cranes and Rigging's scope of works on the above mentioned project included the extraction, unloading and sorting of over 450, 40 foot shipping containers containing over 3500 tonnes of structural steel. The erection of 3500 tonnes of steel, the installation of over 1000 hollow core planks and 63,000 lineal metres of roof purlins and wall girts. This scope also contained 35 structural steel stair cases, platforms and plant decks.
During Performance Cranes and Rigging's tenure on the project, PCR also provided plant and labour to assist other contractors achieve their obligations to Leightons Contractors Pty Ltd, and also provided plant and labour outside of normal working hours and outside of their contractual obligations to assist with the acceleration of the project program that had fallen behind due to circumstances beyond their control.
Due to the complexity of the projects design and the congestion on the site I am of the opinion that Performance Cranes and Rigging were the only erection contractor capable of completing the project. At all times Performance Cranes and Rigging's employees presented themselves in a safe and professional manner and conformed to all of Leighton's site safety requirements, which was refreshing for a structural steel erection company. It is for these reasons that I would have no hesitation in recommending Performance Cranes and Rigging for any future projects.

I am very pleased to write this reference for Performance Cranes & Rigging. I have had the pleasure of working with this company for the last 14 months on a new construction build and Paper machinery Installation in Sydney Port Botany May 2011 - July 2012. The construction and build site has been extremely difficult to manage due to construction and build program happening at the same timescale and the site being very small and congested.
We have employed Performance Cranes & Rigging over the 12 month period with activities ranging from general Crane hire, dogging and rigging services, but also Traffic Control Operations and Site Logistic Personnel. The full crew have been excellent in terms of professionalism, team players, attitude, productivity and willingness to help beyond their normal duties.
The response time for activities to be performed were instant and activities were completed in a safe and timely manner. The very challenging crane lifts that were performed by Performance Cranes & Rigging was outstanding, with al the OHS criteria met and all lifts were executed safely and to budget.
The professionalism of the company is apparent from the office management who is constantly making sure all their operations on site run smoothly, to the supervisors who forward plan and make onsite personnel keep productively working, to the operations on site who are constantly working to achieve their instructions.
I have personally been involved and managed all the Performance Cranes & Rigging employees, especially the site supervisors and can say they have been one of the best teams I have had the pleasure of working with in my career. All expectations have been met and beyond and they have made a very difficult installation situation run very smooth and productive. For future activities for Metso, we will definitely be working with Performance Cranes & Rigging.
